Our Wines
Marsden Estate's vineyards, with 10 acres of vines, were planted in
1993 and comprise Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot, Malbec, Pinotage,
Cabernet Sauvignon and Chambourcin. Six other small vineyards in the area also supply
fruit to the winery, helping compliment our range with Syrah and Cabernet
Franc.
Our
philosophy is that the winemaking is carried out in the vineyard and that
the process should encourage the natural flavours of the grape. Our annual production is, and will
remain around 4,000 cases keeping our focus on sales through the winery
and restaurant.
